PSTS Scholarship
PSTS tries to identify and recognize OUTSTANDING SCIENCE TALENT in students who are juniors or seniors in high school. Students may be recognized through Award Certificates, Ceremonies, Letters of Recommendation, and Monetary Awards. PSTS scholarship interviews will be held by appointment at Penn State University, Lehigh Valley. The interviews are open to 11th and 12th grade students. Any student to be interviewed must have presented a project at the PJAS Regional Meeting and received a “First Place Award”.
To be eligible for an interview, all students must complete the online PA Science Talent Search Form on or before February 1st and the following documents must be submitted to the regional director before the registration deadline.
- A Letter of Recommendation from a high school science teacher or guidance counselor
- A transcript showing the latest or mid-year grades of the current year and class rank (if available)
- A copy of SAT (or ACT) scores
An interview time and place will be communicated to the Regional Director before the Region 3 Meeting.
